Ashley Barry
Ashley Barry, our main author, and editor. She is a passionate adventurer and vegan foodie, who has always had a love for exploring the world.
Growing up in a small town in Canada, Ashley’s thirst for travel was sparked at an early age by the stories her grandmother would tell her about her own travels. As soon as Ashley turned 18, she set out on her first solo trip to Thailand. The experience ignited a flame inside her, and she has traveled ever since. She has now visited 25 countries and counting, with her favorite destinations being in Southeast Asia and Europe. While traveling, Ashley discovered her love for vegan food.
Being a vegan herself, she found it challenging at first to find tasty and satisfying options while on the road. But with her determination and love for food, she started seeking the best vegan eats in each country she visited. In addition to her passion for vegan food and travel, Ashley is also a lover of the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring nature in all its forms.
She has even gone on a few backpacking trips through national parks in North America. When she’s not traveling or exploring the outdoors, Ashley can be found in her kitchen experimenting with new vegan recipes. She loves to share her recipes and food experiences with others and hopes to inspire more people to adopt a plant-based lifestyle.
Through her writings, Ashley hopes to share her travel experiences and tips, as well as showcase the best vegan food around the world. She believes that travel and food can bring people together and create a more compassionate world.
